THIS IS A 1 DEGREE ANGLE!
Take a close look: the bottom line is perfectly straight. The top line APPEARS to be perfectly straight also. But it isn't. It is only 1 degree of difference. If these lines keep travelling their course for miles, for years, for decades, for centuries - how closely parallel do you think they will appear then? Without doing the actual calculation, I hope you agree that the arrows on the end of these lines would be so far apart by then that you'd never know they started out to be so closely resembling each other's path.
This is how deception works.
It starts out so very subtly as to be hardly noticeable. And only those who are extremely observant will see the difference. Those who are not watchful, nor aware of its origin, will not only fail to see the difference, but will have a tendency to scoff at anyone who points it out. After all, "it's not that bad."
